Hospitality & Gathering

Hotel, Resort & Wellness Architecture

Places to welcome, restore, and gather.

Hospitality depends on a guest’s experience and on the work that makes that experience possible. A resort may need places for celebration, quiet care, overnight stays, recreation, and daily operations. Each has its own requirements, yet all contribute to the identity of the destination.

CSNA’s stories at The Broadmoor and the Garden of the Gods Club show different responses to that challenge. They connect architectural character with practical decisions about gathering, personal care, and the continued life of established places.

01

Bring gathering and personal care together

At the International Health & Wellness Center at Garden of the Gods Club, the arrangement of spaces brings people together while protecting quieter moments of care. Buffered meeting noise, sunlight, and mountain views contribute to the experience. The story shows how a broad vision for wellness can guide specific spatial decisions.

02

Respect the experience guests cherish

The Broadmoor Main Hotel required contemporary comfort while retaining its historic character. As architect of record, CSNA coordinated architecture and engineering for reconstruction of the guest room tower while protecting important historic spaces and the defining exterior. The work joined technical coordination with an understanding of what makes the hotel recognizable and valued.

03

Understand the destination as a whole

The Broadmoor: Beyond the Grand Hotel follows a wider range of places to stay, gather, and explore, together with facilities supporting the resort’s daily life. These distinct settings share an enduring identity. Their individual purposes matter, as does the relationship between them and the larger guest experience.
